I had been aiming at 500 words per day recently, but I think I'll have to drop that back to two or three days a week, especially with the load of marking coming up. I didn't get much done on Dark and Silent Waters, aside from a few hundred words of brainstorming stuff, but I did add about 1,000 words to my other WiP. So I did some writing, at least.
I also transferred my ROW80 blog to a new blog, as you can see. I figured that my proper WordPress blog has my name in it, and if/when I manage to get something published and someone searches my name looking for my writing or art, I'd rather that blog come up first than this one (not that there's anything wrong with this one, but outside of ROW80ers, no one is going to be interested in me rambling about writing and academia and Rex and not having enough chocolate lol). So I decided to make this one a bit more nonsensical :) (I know I need to fix up the header a bit, I made this one using a dodgy online Photo editor)
Nothing I do is good enough for Judgemental Dog:
See how other ROW80ers are going here.

Good on you for keeping up with the writing despitite feeling rubbish. And nice new blog :) I did do the seperate author blog thing once, but couldn't be doing with the upkeep of several blogs. Two is enough and I hardly even visit the other one as it is :P And judgemental dog really does look 'unimpressed' - the perfect word. Bless. Still gorgeous though. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice title, Rebecca. Hope you get rested up and feeling well again! It is difficult to choose whether to keep both blogs, keep them separate or link them together, combine them???
ReplyDeleteJudgemental Dog is looking good...hope he's still feeling well, too!
I can relate to having different blogs for different things...Enjoy feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteHere's MY ROW 80 CHECK-IN POST
Congratulations! I've nominated you for the Sunshine Award! http://mrsbongle.com/2012/08/30/the-sunshine-award/
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to do EVERYTHING when you're not feeling well. Here's hoping you get some rest this weekend and good luck with your goals!
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca. I enjoy reading both your blogs and of course, Rex, Judgemental Dog, is very handsome. It must be hard, trying to fit in your writing with all the marking you have to do. I hope you feel better soon and thanks so much for stopping by and visiting my blog.
