Well, this week got off to a rocky start in terms of writing productivity. I had to work most days at my evening job, and spent two full days at uni marking exams, which I finished (or at least, thought I had finished, until two more exams arrived from interstate, so I have to go back to uni to mark them tomorrow *sigh*). Then on Friday, my computer crashed, so I spent most of the weekend getting that up and running again :O Still, I found out I'll be teaching the same subject next semester, so that's pretty cool. The extra money will come in useful, since a) Rex is back on his medication after his bowel disease didn't clear up entirely from the first course of treatment (he's on a lower dose now so he's generally happy and playful), and b) there are lots more art supplies I want D: I know, I already have plenty, but I always want more :D
I did manage to get about 1,500 words done yesterday, including 500 words in a near-midnight sprint. Not enough to make up for the lack of writing during the week, but certainly better than nothing :) Other than exam marking tomorrow, I'm hoping to have most of this week free, so hopefully I can get more writing done.
Judgemental Dog does not like his dreams of chasing rabbits to be interrupted.
See how other ROW80ers are going here.

well the work has to come first - judgemental dog deserves the best:) but well done on being able to get any writing done with all that marking - am impressed - all the best and keep smiling:)
ReplyDeleteLol... Bless his fury hide. He's a lovely dog. Hope he can recover totally?
ReplyDeleteAnd look at you... So busy! I remember marking (although one hopes the work you mark is of a higher calibre than my A'Level Psychology students?) - hated it. Soul sapping is one phrase I'd use in fact. :)
Best of luck during the break from ROW updates and see you on round three I hope. X
